Announcing Bridge to Recovery Union County
April 24, 2007 -- NYCR's Hope Center in Elizabeth, NJ is one of the lead convenors of the Bridge to Recovery-Union County modeled after a successful community collaborative in Newark/Essex County. The Bridge to Recovery is a unique public, private, and faith-based consortium to more effectively serve substance abusers and their families with recovery and support services through collaboration.

New Grant Award
March 04, 2007 -- NYCR's Hope Center outreach in Elizabeth, NJ was awarded a 2007 grant from the New Jersey Dept. of State, Office of Faith-Based Initiatives to support our outreach to substance abusers and launch a Bridge to Recovery consortium in Union County.

The Noise Hip Hop Block Party
August 18, 2006 -- Join us on Sat. August 19th from 4-8 pm at The Hope Center for The Noise Hip Hop Block Party, featuring Prophetess, Forgiven, Heata, and a special message from Cookie Rodriquez, who for nearly two decades, Cookie Rodriguez has been at the forefront of Dallas' efforts to combat the devastating effects of gang life.

SpeakerJam/GospelFest--Sat. June 24th
June 19, 2006 -- Join us for the annual Speaker Jam/Gospel Fest at Jefferson Park (Jefferson St.) in Elizabeth, NJ from 10:30 am to 4 pm on Saturday, June 24th. There will be free food, great music, and recovery speakers.

Recipient of Faith-Based Funding
February 19, 2006 -- NYC Relief's Hope Center & Relief Bus outreach was selected to receive a grant from the New Jersey Dept. of State, Office of Faith-Based Initiatives to support our outreach to substance abusers.

CityTribe Church Christmas Party
December 23, 2005 -- Christmas party is 5-8PM on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Holiday Hours
December 23, 2005 -- The Hope Center is closed from December 24 - January 3. See you all next year!

Overcomers Thanksgiving Marathon Meeting
November 08, 2005 -- On Nov 24, Thanksgiving day, Overcomers Outreach Ministry is having its annual event at Union Baptist Church in Elizabeth. Door opens at 12:30pm til 9pm with hot meals and great fellowship.

Roof Construction
